DIGITAL ROADMAP:
FEATURES FOR THE FUTURE
The Jung by the Sea website and video channel work together to form a ‘living resource’. In addition to ongoing maintenance, we will be adding functionality and adjustments as the platforms evolve.
BROWSE THE VIDEO LIBRARY
Navigating the on-demand channel is easy. The BROWSE button on the menu bar at the top of each page will take you to the first level video library listing, offering a taster of the channel content. From here, click on the ‘View all’ link to access the full CENTENARY CELEBRATION library.
Clicking on any of the video thumbnails (images), will bring-up the channel page for that session. Each session page includes a short (text) introduction, a link to the main video (movie) and any extras such as short web page preview (trailer video clip) where relevant.

ACCESSING CHANNEL WEB PAGES
In addition to the core session video, each seminar and workshop has an accompanying web page with background information, picking-up on conference themes and pointing to additional sources and readings.
At this time, it is not possible for us to link directly to the web pages from inside the channel. Instead, when you subscribe, you will receive an email containing a link to the online CHANNEL DIRECTORY with links to all the web pages (and videos). This reference point will be updated as new pages and online resources are added. Please contact us if you haven’t received it (and it cannot be found in your email junk folder) 24 hours after subscribing.
So subscribers don't miss out on this supporting material wherever you are, we also include a downloadable PDF with a reminder of this link alongside each video (see clip).

CLOSED CAPTIONS (CC)
Closed Captions (subtitles in the same language as the original audio) are a useful function that we are gradually implementing for our videos with spoken dialogue. This gives us the opportunity to widen access to these sessions for deaf viewers and those with hearing loss. Closed Captions can also be useful when watching these sessions in noisy or sound-sensitive environments, and can clarify elements of the narrative and improve comprehension for all users.
Videos which have Closed Captions will be marked with the CC icon in their listing information. If you would like us to notify you as they become available, let us know.
The button to enable Closed Captions can be found at the bottom of the player window, which pops-up a menu. Select ‘English CC’ to switch them on (see video) and ‘Off’ to switch them off.

VIDEO PLAYBACK SPEED
Among buttons at the bottom of the video player, you can also access the option to vary playback speed (see video). Depending on your own preferences, this function allows you to slow densely-packed talks down a little - or speed them up slightly (good for revisits).

VIDEO 'CHAPTERS'
We have divided the longer Seminar videos into 'chapter' sections, allowing viewers to easily navigate between the Introduction, Speaker Presentation, Workshop and Q&A sections as relevant.
The link to the chapter listing pop-up can be found at the bottom of the player (see video clip).
