WELCOME
We are delighted to have you here as subscriber or visitor. Whether your interest in Jung is professional, well-developed, or you have just stumbled across our work, the digital channel is aimed at anyone with a curiosity or interest in Jung, be that directly or indirectly.
What is the Jung By The Sea Video Channel?
Currently, our video offering captures the sessions and themes from our inaugural Jung by the Sea ‘Centenary Celebration’ event, conceived to mark the Centenary of Jung’s seminars in Cornwall at Sennen Cove (1920) and Polzeath (1923). Speakers from the UK and across the world contributed through the fields of psychological astrology, academic and clinical research, philosophy, religion, mythology & storytelling, and dreams/dreaming.
See our events page for more information on this special event bringing together place, people and experiences. Some additional feedback is included below.
We have set-up the channel to provide a ‘digital version’ of the event. This includes full videos of 6 core seminars alongside video shorts of 2 workshops and compilations, which together present different aspects of the place and activities. Accompanying web pages provide background information, pick-up on conference themes and point to additional sources and readings.
While the in-person venue provided a special place for this centenary celebration, delegate numbers were restricted. The digital version is positioned to provide alternative forms of access across a wider area of the globe and can be streamed on a range of devices at a time that suits.
The video and web format also open-up additional options for presenting the talks. We have used this opportunity to include new slide decks incorporating a wider range of digital media.
THE VIDEO CHANNEL SUBSCRIPTION
What Material is Included in the Subscription?
For all subscribers, the library you will have access to is set out below. You can access more information on the individual sessions in the channel. Each seminar includes a video session that consists of an introduction, presentation and chaired Q&A (approx 1.5 hrs).
Seminars and workshops are accompanied by a web page with an outline of the session, speaker information, links to further reading and session themes, and details of seminar references, providing links to explore digital works within museum & gallery collections around the world. The content of each web page differs in response to the session.
Please note that (1) during the launch period, we will be adding sessions (videos) regularly until the full library is available, (2) we will be providing open access to some of the channel content for those who would like a taster of our materials (indicated on the listing).
What is not included?
The annual subscription fee covers unlimited access to the Centenary Celebration videos listed below for 12 months. Should recordings of new Jung by the Sea events be created during this period, they will be made available as a separate package for an additional fee (which will be listed on the channel).

The high quality content and flexible delivery supports self-driven ongoing learning and can be configured to fit credit-based or document based formal learning schemes. subscription format & pricing
video channel trailer
For the Jung by the Sea Centenary Celebration package, we offer an Annual subscription of £173.30 only (any references to monthly subscriptions you may come across in the channel help system are calculated automatically for illustration purposes).
The Annual Subscription cost covers access to all the Centenary Celebration video and web media developed for the channel. This approach allows us to provide a longer subscription window, ensuring that all subscribers have the opportunity to access and revisit the material at a convenient time. For some, a more concentrated period of immersion is preferable, while others will find it more convenient to dip in over time. The single price is applied for all users.
As a non-profit initiative, the cost is set as low as possible to balance accessibility with contributing towards the varied costs of production and video platform fees. If you would like to support our work, please consider gifting a subscription to a friend or colleague.
Discounts & Promotions
We are pleased to offer a 20% discount during the launch phase of the video channel, bringing the current subscription cost to £138.64. If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please enter code JBSODLAUNCH20 when purchasing your subscription.
Please ensure that you use the discount code while it is valid (before end of October 2024) and at the time of purchase. Only one discount can be used at a time. Please note that payment transactions are implemented by our video platform partner. Jung by the Sea is unable to apply these discounts for you - or retrospectively.
