INTRODUCING OUR
ON-DEMAND VIDEO CHANNEL
In the spirit of promoting Jungian ideas and creative exploration of Jungian theory, we wanted to facilitate the widest possible access to all that we do. This led us to consider introducing new formats, so we have been collaborating with a range of partners on the development of a video and web package that will be available exclusively through our (forthcoming) On-Demand Video Channel.
This channel will form a more accessible and affordable portal for participants who may not be able to travel to or engage in the live events—providing access to the range of high quality CPD, creative and academic events we hope to develop in the coming years.
JUNG BY THE SEA
CENTENARY CELEBRATION
VIDEO-ON-DEMAND PACKAGE
At present, we have been focusing on consolidating the range of material, understandings and feedback from the event, towards developing a thoughtful digital ‘version’ of the conference, to be accessed as an on-demand video streaming package. The videos and content in-development focus on the range of themes explored by speakers, workshop leaders and participants throughout the different activities of our inaugural three-day event.
Whether your interest in Jung is professional, well-developed, or you have just stumbled across our work, this digital package is aimed at anyone with a curiosity or interest in Jung, be that directly or indirectly. We are confident that the inaugural package we are creating will be a wonderful reminder of the in-person event for those who attended, offer some extended access to workshops that you may not have attended, as well as a valuable resource for those first-time delegates accessing the programme online.
Currently, our small team is working to edit the raw video footage, alongside building new elements that make best use of the digital format. The development brings additional opportunities for accessibility, such as closed captioning (subtitles) and viewing controls. Another major commitment is to make sure all the images and material shown on the site is properly accredited, and complies with copyright rules, and given the wonderfully creative and expansive presentations, this is proving to be a huge task.
The video-on-demand version of the event is being developed to engage the mind, recharge practice, outline structured activities and point to additional resources for further self-directed exploration. The streaming package will be flexible, with access configurable as extended, more intensive sessions, or participants can dip in and out over a longer period, making it easier to make time for personal & professional development.
